The bill amends the Milford City Charter to redefine the City Council as an elective body consisting of a Mayor and eight Councilmembers. It specifies that two Councilmembers must reside in each of the city's four wards. The Mayor and Councilmembers will serve two-year terms until January 1, 2026, after which the Mayor's term will extend to three years, and Councilmembers' terms will also extend to three years starting January 1, 2027.
