Delaware HB113 amends Title 29 of the Delaware Code to deny pensions to education employees convicted of specific crimes related to their employment. The bill applies to employees of the State Department of Education, school districts, the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, and Delaware Technical and Community College. The survivor of any individual denied a pension under this section will be entitled to receive survivor benefits following the death of the individual, provided they have completed the required application.
