Colorado HB1433 adds a provision to Colorado Revised Statutes, allowing the Division of Fire Prevention and Control to seek, accept, and expend gifts, grants, or donations from private or public sources to implement the requirements of the firefighter behavioral health benefits program. This act takes effect on August 12, 2026, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case it will take effect after approval by the people at the November 2026 general election.
