The bill amends Colorado law to credit the State Public School Fund with certain royalties and payments from the depletion or extraction of natural resources on public school lands. For the 2025-26 fiscal year, the first $25 million of these royalties must be credited to the State Public School Fund. For the 2026-27 fiscal year, the first $45 million of these royalties must be credited to the fund. Any amount exceeding these thresholds must be credited to the Public School Fund, also known as the permanent fund.
