California SB1333 amends the Business and Professions Code to expand the scope of practice for naturopathic doctors. The bill allows naturopathic doctors to prescribe and administer epinephrine for anaphylaxis, natural and synthetic hormones, and vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other substances when chemically identical to over-the-counter products. Naturopathic doctors can also perform minor office procedures, including laceration care, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal.
