SB1328 mandates that the Trustees of the California State University and the governing boards of community college districts designate employees as points of contact for LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, and students at their main campuses and branch campuses or satellite locations. These designated employees must not be considered responsible employees for Title IX purposes and must not disclose confidential information without consent. The University of California is requested to comply with this section, but only if the Regents make it applicable.
