The California Emerging Therapies Research Partnership Act establishes the California Emerging Therapies Research Partnership Fund to support emerging therapies research. The fund can receive federal grants, awards, and partnership payments from the ARPA-H or similar federal programs, as well as federal grants or research awards from other federal agencies. The fund cannot receive General Fund moneys or be used for purchasing, distributing, or administering controlled substances, establishing a therapeutic access program, or supporting unauthorized activities.
