The bill establishes the California Street Prostitution Issues and Options Task Force to analyze street prostitution and human trafficking. The task force will examine existing laws, strategies for enforcement, and the role of street prostitution in human trafficking. It will also identify available programs for sex workers and trafficking survivors, and assess the need for additional services. The task force will report its findings and recommendations to the Governor, the Attorney General, and the Legislature by July 1, 2028.
