California Law Revision Commission: studies on 16 topics.
The California Law Revision Commission is authorized to continue studying 14 topics previously approved by the Legislature and two new topics. The commission must submit a detailed description of the scope of work to the Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committees and any other relevant policy committees before starting a study. If the scope changes significantly during the study, the commission must report the change. The commission must also provide notice to legislative leadership before beginning a study.
