California AB644 would authorize the Natural Resources Agency to enter into a noncompetitive grant with a nonprofit organization to plan, construct, and maintain a Holocaust memorial at Exposition Park. The memorial would be consistent with the operating policies and procedures of the Office of Exposition Park Management. The bill would require the agency, department, in consultation with the nonprofit organization, to review the preliminary design plans to identify potential maintenance concerns and ensure compliance with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and other safety.
