California AB484 adds a section to the Business and Professions Code, requiring the Committee of Bar Examiners to report by November 30, 2026, on the efficiency of adopting a uniform bar examination, such as the National Conference of Bar Examiners’ Uniform Bar Examination. The report must be submitted to the board of trustees, the Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court, and the Assembly and Senate Committees on Judiciary. The section is repealed on January 1, 2030.
