California AB471 amends the Health and Safety Code to allow the Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District board to provide compensation to its members. Members are entitled to reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of board duties. The board may provide compensation of up to $200 per day, not exceeding $7,200 per year, for attending meetings or official business. Compensation increases are limited to 5% annually or 10% based on inflation starting January 1, 2026.
