California AB313 amends the Education Code to allow the Student Aid Commission to grant up to an additional 30 calendar days for student financial aid application deadlines. This applies to all financial aid programs administered by the commission. The extension can be requested by the superintendent of a school district or community college district, or from the president or chancellor of a California institution of higher education.
