California AB2475 establishes a standardized emergency management system for all emergency response agencies.
California AB2475 amends the Government Code to create a standardized emergency management system for all emergency response agencies. This system includes the Incident Command Systems, multiagency coordination systems, and mutual aid agreements. The Office of Emergency Services, in coordination with state and local agencies, will establish this system by regulation. All state agencies must use this system to coordinate emergency and disaster operations. Local agencies must also use it to be eligible for funding under disaster assistance programs.
