The bill establishes the Community Supporting Innovation Pilot Program to support families with complex needs or multiple stressors, but whose children are not at substantial risk of serious harm. The Office of Child Abuse Prevention will select 25 community-based organizations to participate in the pilot program, which will provide assistance to families navigating services related to basic needs. Participating organizations must be geographically and demographically diverse and comply with program standards, including safety monitoring and family support planning.
