Establishes an intersegmental student housing working group to assess unmet student housing demand and develop a statewide plan for future funding.

The bill creates an intersegmental student housing working group to coordinate efforts on developing student housing across California's public higher education segments. The group will assess unmet student housing demand, analyze completed and proposed projects, and identify structural barriers to development. It will also develop a statewide plan for intersegmental collaboration and recommend best practices for future projects. The working group will submit a report to the Legislature and the Governor by July 1, 2028.
