The California-Ireland Trade Commission is established to advance bilateral trade and investment between California and Ireland. The commission will initiate joint action on policy issues, promote business and academic exchanges, encourage mutual economic support, and address other relevant issues. The commission will report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature. Members of the commission will be appointed by the Governor, the President pro Tempore of the Senate, and the Speaker of the Assembly. The commission will meet and hold hearings throughout the state.
