California AB1882 creates the Safe Delivery Fund Pilot Program within the Department of Health Care Access and Information. Eligible hospitals must be critical access hospitals, located at least 75 miles from the nearest tertiary hospital, and perform no more than 225 inpatient surgeries annually.
