California AB1492 amends Section 300 of the Elections Code to redefine "vote by mail voter" as any voter casting a ballot in any way other than at a polling place. It also redefines "military or overseas voter" to include members of the active or reserve components of the U.S. military, Merchant Marine, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, and members of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Corps.
