California AB1479 adds provisions to the Streets and Highways Code allowing the Boards of Supervisors in the Counties of Madera and Tehama to abolish the office of road commissioner if they transfer all duties to the county director of the department of public works. The director of that department is exempt from needing any special permit, registration, or license.
