Round 7 of the Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention program is established. Effective July 1, 2026, $500,000,000 is appropriated, provided that these funds shall only be disbursed in accordance with specified requirements. The bill also adds provisions to the Public Resources Code regarding the California Environmental Quality Act, including exemptions for certain projects and definitions for terms such as "distribution center" and "oil and gas infrastructure.
