California AB1123 amends the Commission on Teacher Credentialing membership by establishing the commission to consist of 18 voting members, 17 of whom are appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The commission includes the Superintendent or their designee, six practicing teachers from public elementary and secondary schools, one person employed on the basis of a services credential, one member of the governing board of a school district, three representatives of the public, one school administrator, one certificated human resources administrator, and one faculty.
