Federally qualified health centers must report revenue and mission-directed expenses.
California AB1113 would require each federally qualified health center (FQHC) to report total revenues collected from all revenue sources, along with the portion of revenues that are expended on all mission-directed expenses, to the State Department of Public Health. Each report would include, at a minimum, the FQHC's filed IRS Form 990, 990-PF, 990-EZ, or 1120, from the most recent taxable year, with all attachments and schedules as applicable, in the same form as filed with the IRS, along with a certification signed by a duly authorized official of the FQHC or its parent corporation.
