Arkansas SR9 would prohibit using computers or software from certain foreign entities in digital asset mining.

Arkansas SR9 would authorize the introduction of a bill to prohibit the use of computers manufactured or assembled by a covered foreign entity in digital asset mining. It would also prohibit the use of software developed by such entities. A covered foreign entity includes those on the U.S. Commerce Secretary's lists, those domiciled in China or Russia, those under the influence of those governments, or their affiliates. Violators face misdemeanor or felony penalties.
