Arizona SB1767 amends the Arizona Department of Corrections' duties and powers, including establishing a dedicated prisoner education services budget for each state prison. The director must determine the amount of the budget allocated for education programs dedicated to prisoners incarcerated in a special management unit. The bill also prohibits the director from adopting any policy or rule that excludes a person from educational or vocational programs.
