Arizona SB1635 amends the Arizona Revised Statutes to add a new section making it a class 1 misdemeanor to knowingly communicate information that alerts another person of an imminent or ongoing arrest effort by law enforcement. This applies unless the communication is made by an attorney providing lawful advice or in response to a lawful request by law enforcement. The attorney general or county attorney may prosecute violations.
