Arizona SB1606 regulates portable solar generation devices and distributed energy generation systems.

Arizona SB1606 amends state statutes to regulate portable solar generation devices and distributed energy generation systems. It prohibits public power entities from requiring customers to obtain approval, pay fees, or install additional controls for using portable solar generation devices. These devices must have a maximum power output of no more than 1,200 watts and connect to a building's electrical system through a standard 120-volt AC outlet.
