Arizona SB1504 amends the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System to include part-time employees who work at least 20 hours per week and meet certain service requirements. The bill also adjusts retirement benefits for inflation based on the funded ratio of the system. Eligible retired members or survivors of retired members will receive a cost-of-living adjustment based on the average annual percentage change in the metropolitan Phoenix-Mesa consumer price index.
