Arizona SB1395 amends medical licensure requirements for international medical graduates.

Arizona SB1395 amends section 32-1423 of the Arizona Revised Statutes to impose additional requirements for applicants who graduated from unapproved allopathic schools of medicine. These applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English and either hold a certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, complete a fifth pathway program, or have thirty-six months of experience as a full-time assistant professor or higher in an approved medical school.
