SB 1260 amends Arizona law to allow cities or towns in certain districts to be designated as having an assured water supply.

SB 1260 amends Arizona law to allow cities or towns to be designated as having an assured water supply if they meet specific criteria. These include being located within an irrigation and water conservation district or on lands served by an agricultural water company, having a contract for water supply for at least 100 years, and demonstrating financial capability to construct necessary water facilities. The director of the relevant department can review and determine the water supply status of these areas.
