Behavioral health facilities; fingerprinting

Behavioral health facilities must have valid fingerprint clearance cards for applicants, licensees, and owners.

Starting January 1, 2027, behavioral health facilities must ensure that applicants, licensees, and owners have valid fingerprint clearance cards. These facilities include outpatient treatment centers, behavioral health inpatient facilities, behavioral health residential facilities, counseling facilities, and substance abuse facilities. The fingerprint clearance card requirements apply to all new and renewal applications for licensure.
