Arizona SB1073 amends traffic laws for bicycles, including electric bicycles and electric standup scooters. It prohibits courts from transmitting records of bicycle violations to the Department of Transportation and insurers from considering such violations for rate setting or policy cancellation. Local authorities can limit the speed of bicycles and electric bicycles on paths. Electric bicycles and scooters must have visible identification and cannot exceed certain speeds on sidewalks or when passing others.
