Introduced Text

Arizona SB1022 exempts booking photographs and photo enforcement system recordings from public disclosure.

Arizona SB1022 amends title 39, chapter 1, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 39-130. This section exempts booking photographs and photographs, videos, or other digital recordings from public disclosure when used as part of a photo enforcement system. The bill defines "booking photograph" and "photo enforcement system" based on existing sections 44-7901 and 28-601, respectively. This means that such images and recordings will not be subject to public records requests.
