Introduced·2/2/26
Introduced Text

Arizona HB2971 allows deferment of initial occupational licensing fees for the second year of licensure.

Arizona HB2971 amends the state's occupational licensing laws to permit a deferment of the initial license, registration, or certification fee for any profession or occupation licensed, registered, or certified in Arizona. This deferment applies at the beginning of the second year the person is licensed, registered, or certified in the state. The bill introduces a new section, 32-4305, to the Arizona Revised Statutes, clarifying the conditions under which these fees can be deferred.
