Arizona HB2729 repeals section 41-3026.08 of the Arizona Revised Statutes and adds a new section 41-3030.19, which terminates the Arizona state board of nursing on July 1, 2030. The act also repeals related sections on January 1, 2031. Despite the termination, the legislature continues the Arizona state board of nursing to promote the safe and professional practice of nursing and its related professions. Sections 1 and 2 of the act apply retroactively from July 1, 2026.
