Exempts safe firearm storage devices from transaction privilege tax.

Arizona HB2635 amends the transaction privilege tax to exempt safe firearm storage devices from taxation. A "safe firearm storage device" is defined as a device designed to deny unauthorized access or render inoperable a firearm or ammunition, secured by a combination lock, key lock, or biometric lock, and not incorporated into a firearm or ammunition, nor subject to a recall. The bill applies to taxable periods beginning on or after the first day of the month following the general effective date.
