Arizona HB2627 allows pharmacists to provide emergency prescriptions and refills during declared states of emergency.

Arizona HB2627 amends the Arizona state board of pharmacy rules to allow pharmacists to dispense emergency prescriptions and refills during natural disasters or terrorist attacks. Pharmacists can provide a one-time emergency refill prescription of up to a thirty-day supply if the state of emergency continues for at least twenty-one days. Out-of-state licensed pharmacists can also dispense medications in affected areas during an emergency if they are engaged in a legitimate relief effort.
