Establishes a fire insurance review task force to examine premium rates, policy coverages, and consumer complaints.

The bill creates a fire insurance review task force within the Department of Insurance. The task force will review fire insurance premium rates and policy coverages, examine consumer complaints about nonrenewal and rate increases, and identify trends in rate increases by geographical area. The task force will submit an annual report to the governor and legislative leaders. Members include the director of the department, experts in fire insurance, a representative from a nonprofit environmental advocacy group, the state forester, and experts in fire zones and prevention.
