Arizona HB2598 amends campaign finance laws to establish penalties for late filings and suspension for repeated non-compliance. The bill sets a $20 penalty for each of the first fifteen days a report is late, and $50 for each day thereafter. If a committee fails to file a complete report within thirty days, the filing officer may notify the appropriate enforcement officer. For political action committees or parties that fail to file three consecutive complete reports, the filing officer must send a notice of temporary suspension.
