Arizona HB2597 allocates $15 million from the state general fund for fiscal year 2026-2027 to the Department of Health Services. This funding is intended for tribal governments to open or reopen tribal assisted living facilities and tribal nursing homes across the state. At least $1.5 million must be allocated to the Hopi Tribe and at least $1.5 million to the Navajo Nation. The funds will be distributed proportionally to facilities in the northern, central, and southern portions of the state.
