Introduced·6/27/25
Introduced Text

Arizona HB2590 amends the definition of residential rental property in state law.

Arizona HB2590 amends the definition of "residential rental property" in state law to clarify that it includes property leased or rented for residential purposes or to lodgers for periods of less than thirty days. It also specifies that for space rental mobile home parks, the rental space is considered residential rental property, but not the mobile home or recreational vehicle if owned and occupied by the tenant. The bill also defines "slum property" as deteriorated rental property that poses a danger to public health or safety due to structural issues or lack of essential utilities.
