Arizona HB2559 amends state statutes to require insurance coverage for behavioral health services, including mental health and substance use disorder services, for policies issued, amended, delivered, or renewed on or after January 1, 2027. Insurers must establish procedures to assist policyholders in accessing out-of-network providers if in-network services are not available in a timely manner. Insurers are not responsible if services are available within the specified timeframe and the policyholder chooses to schedule outside it.
