Arizona HB2540 repeals certain statutes related to securities and public utilities.

Arizona HB2540 repeals Title 30, Chapter 8 and Title 40, Chapter 3 of the Arizona Revised Statutes. It also amends Section 47-9109 to clarify the scope of the Uniform Commercial Code as it applies to security interests in personal property or fixtures. The bill excludes several types of assignments and transfers from the scope of the Uniform Commercial Code, including certain assignments of claims, rights to payment, and interests in real property.
