The bill establishes the Office of Homeless Services to coordinate and oversee homeless services in Arizona. The office will develop an annual homeless services budget and overview of available services, prioritize funding for programs with a history of success, and set goals for reducing homelessness. The office will also manage the Property Loss Homelessness Compensation Fund to provide loans and compensation for property loss due to homeless shelters. The office will terminate on July 1, 2030.
