Arizona HB2522 amends tax payment methods for transaction privilege and affiliated excise taxes.

Arizona HB2522 amends section 42-5018 of the Arizona Revised Statutes to specify the methods of payment for transaction privilege and affiliated excise taxes. It allows for remittances to be made by bank draft, check, cashier's check, money order, cash, or electronic funds transfer. The department must issue receipts for all payments except cash, which is not considered final discharge of tax liability until paid in cash to the department.
