Arizona HB2487 amends sections of the Arizona Revised Statutes to modify water supply regulations for multifamily properties in active management areas. The bill requires developers of six or more detached single-family residences, multifamily residential properties, or condominiums within active management areas to apply for and obtain a certificate of assured water supply from the director before presenting a building permit or building plan application for approval.
