HB2448

Voting locations; emergency designation; electioneering

Chamber Passed·2/20/25

Arizona HB2448 amends election precinct and polling place designation rules, allows electioneering outside polling places, and coordinates.

Arizona HB2448 revises election precinct and polling place designation rules, allowing electioneering outside polling places and early voting sites. The board of supervisors must establish election precincts by October 1 each year. Polling places must be designated at least 20 days before a general or primary election and 10 days before a special election. The board may combine precincts or designate alternate polling places if necessary. Beginning in 2026, the Department of Administration will coordinate state-owned facilities for voting when requested.
