Allows certified midwives to accompany patients in ambulances during out-of-hospital births.

HB 2252 amends Arizona law to allow certified nurse midwives, certified professional midwives, and licensed midwives to accompany patients in ground ambulances to hospitals during out-of-hospital births if they request the ambulance by dialing 911. These midwives can provide necessary medical care during transport, subject to approval by the medical director overseeing the ambulance service.
