Arizona HB2218 establishes a pilot program for a mobile communications platform for election workers.

Arizona HB2218 mandates the establishment of a pilot program for a mobile communications platform for election workers, including poll workers, drivers, and warehouse and supply workers. The Secretary of State, in collaboration with county recorders and election officers, will deploy the platform in one or more counties or jurisdictions. The platform will be offered to counties at reduced or no cost. The bill appropriates $200,000 from the state general fund for fiscal year 2026-2027 to support this initiative. The provisions of this act are set to be repealed after December 31, 2027.
