Arizona HB2044 amends the classification of offenses related to the abandonment or concealment of a dead human body.

Arizona HB2044 amends the classification of offenses related to the abandonment or concealment of a dead human body. It makes it unlawful to knowingly move a dead human body or parts with the intent to abandon or conceal them. Violators are guilty of a class 5 felony, except in cases where the intent is to conceal a crime or avoid apprehension, or if the death occurred before abandonment or concealment, in which case the offense is a class 3 felony.
